| Practice Description At Mirando Chiropractic Center our practice has shown us that regular chiropractic care can correct and prevent issues directly related to the spine (headaches, TMJ, neck pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, low back pain, sciatica) without drugs or surgery. At the Mirando Chiropractic Center, we provide full service chiropractic care (including x-rays) and massage therapy for the entire family in a calm and healing environment. Also, because of the relationship between proper spinal health and your feet, we offer custom made orthotic shoe inserts using the latest in scanning technology. We’re conveniently located on Connecticut Avenue in northwest Washington, DC just three blocks from the Van Ness-UDC Metro station. There is also ample free on-street parking available. Education Dr. Dominick Mirando is a graduate of Sherman Chiropractic College in Spartanburg, SC and has been practicing since 2001. He is an advocate of family based, heath focused chiropractic care and treats patients 6 months old and up. He uses multiple chiropractic techniques including Gonstead, diversified upper cervical, Pierce, Thompson, and applied kinesiology. He is also certified in extremity adjusting, sports injuries, and treating expectant mothers. In addition to his active practice, Dr. Mirando is vice-president of the D.C. Chiropractic Association and is an assistant coach for his son’s wrestling team. He resides on the eastern shore of Maryland with his wife and two children. Services
