SQL Server DBA / Developer urgently required by Investment Bank.
You will be working within a team of 12 DBA’s and Developers; this will give you the opportunity to learn from some of the best candidates on the market.
The role is going to be 70% Development and 30% Production support. You will be working in a team that is currently supporting the Development of Business Intelligence products based on MS SQL Server 2005.
In return for your services you will be rewarded with a fantastic training scheme, which will see you receiving Microsoft certification, Business Intelligence cross training, and ITIL.
You will also be placed on a fast track career development programme which will see you promoted to a team leader in under a year.
For this role you will be expected to have a solid experience of the following:
MS SQL DBA
Strong knowledge of T-SQL
Strong knowledge of replication
Extensive experience with performance tuning
Full understanding of product release cycle
Working with a large number of servers in a global environment
Strong knowledge of database disaster recovery procedures
Experience with high-availability solutions
